Amsterdam took part in the International Sunflower planting act. There were just two of us that showed up of the meeting point at the van Goch museum; ring a sunflower bell?

Tom and myself handen out packets to people with seeds in them and explained what the cause was for, most of the people reacted very enthusiastic.

We were also checked out by the police when we moved to close to the American Embassy, there is tight security.

We walked through the next neighbourhood that we had not planted anything in yet, we tend to take on a new area every other day to insure that the city centre is well filled with sunflowerfaces.

After an refreshment we planned to walk past the American Embassy again, but from another direction and we were very successfull. Planted a whole lot in the flowerboxes all along the building before we came back into sight from teh human watchtower. So, plant a sunflower, even today until the end of may, bees and butterflies love them and they tend to out smiles on peoples faces too!!!

And when they are fully grown, why not press them and fuel your diesel car!!

Love from Amsterdam
