The island community of Samsoe is unique in that it is not the electricity companies or large multinational corporations that are behind its energy self-sufficiency, but rather a community of ordinary involved citizens. It's a real model of how things might be elsewhere. I'm particularly interested because I'm intending to put up my own wind turbine within the next year and it's always good to learn from pioneers like these islanders.
