In Seattle, Washington, local public-radio KEXP is hosting a benefit concert to raise funds for the Shoreline Solar Project (http://shorelinesolar.org). The Project promotes the practical application of renewable energy and the environmentally responsible practices to enhance the economic, ecological, and social environment of the community. They endorse the use of solar energy and have installed solar photovoltaic systems in local residences and schools.
