Magnetic Fridge needs no electricity
Scientists in Denmark have developed a refrigerator that uses magnetism to the cool the inside instead of motors and electricity. Producing zero carbon emissions.
CommentsWoW.. let us hope it will available soon, I think we, the equator countries, are the biggest user of refrigerator. and yes Lottie I hope it won't be expensive!!
Wow, that's great! And it's silent as well. :)
I can't wait til it's available! It does indicate that it might be expensive though. When can you buy one?
I don't know, maybe it must have some kind of electrical source for the light, but its definitely a start. Refrigeration is one of the largest users of electricity in the home. Maybe they could work out a way to store electricity and power the lights aswell
So does it not have a plug?
And what happens about the light that comes on when you open the door? |
it may be quite expensive until the technology becomes cheaper and more available. just as you see with plasma and lcd tvs. They are now cheap enough to be more accessible.
