The climate is changing. It is always changing. Global temperatures are currently warming slightly. We are coming out of an ice age, so this is to be expected.

Some computer models suggest that man is causing this warming via production of carbon dioxide. These models are the only evidence that man is to blame. These models are the same ones that can't forecast whether it will rain next week.

Ice cores show that for hundreds of thousands of years, carbon dioxide increases have FOLLOWED temperature increases. That is, carbon dioxide levels are an effect, NOT a cause of global temperature changes.

Water vapour is by far the most important greenhouse gas, not carbon dioxide. Man contributes about 1% of the world's carbon dioxide, the rest arises from natural processes. The greenhouse effect itself is a minor cause of global temperature changes. Changes in the sun's heating and changes in the earth's orbit cause most of global temperature changes.

Carbon dioxide is not a pollutant. It is a fertilizer. Doubling the carbon dioxide concentration can double the growth rate of trees.

Why protest against the weather ? Take action against factors that actually harm the environment ... such as over population.
