It has been predicted and recently observed that changes in global climate will impact coastal environments. Identify the global climate change factors that will affect coastal environments and describe their impacts. How have humans contributed to these changes in climate. Why are low lying islands in the Pacific particularly at risk? What impact will global climate change have on coral reefs.

changes in global climate affects the coastal environment.
Commentsanswers in brief to ur question. 1. CO2 is one of the green house gases contributed by humans, which causes global warming . 2. This gas enters into oceanic waters and may alter pH of the water thereby causing destruction to corals, planktons and even alter the ionic state of certain dissolved metals in seawater. 3. Various green house gases envelop the atmosphere and make the earth warmer and warmer. in due course the ice at polar regions melt and makes sea level to raise casuing risk to low lying islands. salinity of sewater may also gets altered subsequently causing changes to density and movement of certain ocean currents. 4. corals may get affected due to change in salinity of seawater, raise in water temperature, and change of pH level of seawater. |

hi.iam nirvair and i have accepted you friend reqest.now lets talk about islands.low lying islands in the pacific particularly are at risk because due to global warming the ice bergs have melted and the water level is rising so the island is in danger of being submerged in water.
