New technology for wind turbines unveiled at Wind Power Asia that claims to be 1000x more efficient than traditional ones.

A new magnetic levetation wind turbine claims to offer the power output of 1000 normal wind turbines, and able to power 750,000 homes.

Looks wonderful and I really wish the technology luck - I hope it's being invested in. Bit misleading to say it's a thousand times more efficient - I can't imagine that the friction in the bearings of a more conventional wind turbine waste more than 10% or so of the enegy.
But brilliant if one turbine can generate so much power - and it works at much lower and higher wind speeds than conventional ones.

So, these people need to disclose more information if the public is going to believe them. I would love for this to be true, but I'd need to see more info first.
