for my opinion i do think that planting tree tends to reduce the depth of the problem only if its carrying capacity is not over exceeded, yes it is true that plant tends touse carbondioxide,due to the present statistics the production of this gas still going up, due to the process of burning fossils fuels

You are right but we have to start somewhere. Everybody can do this, just plant a tree in your backyard. Every tree counts. The point where we can save our environment with planting trees is already passed. We are not able to stop Brasil or the Asian countries from cutting the trees since this is their major income without huge investments into those countries. Even than, illigal tree cutting is common in those countries. Countries like the US and Australia (hopefully with a new prime minister in Australia and his approach of carbon emission this could happen soon, nevermind the US to much carbon inhaled already) need to understand and comply with international standards for cabon emission and reduction. Most of the Countries who signed the Kyoto protocol have even more stringend requirements in their country than the Kyoto protocal requires to reduce air polution. Most importantly we need to reduce any form of burning fossil materials. This can be done for example be using more wind power, tidel wave and solar power for power generation. Hopefully in the future non fossil fuel based fuel cells or something better is developed.
