Posters can help lot if presented in interesting manner because attractive poster draw attention easily. It will be better if measures easy to adopt in daily life ,like switching off electrical appliances when not in use, shopping locally ,covering small distance on foot etc.are suggested . These small steps can make a large difference.

I have a bit of a weird approach to posters. I think if the posters are normal and official and put up in bus stops etc then people will pay attention, but I think what'll get more attention is if the people take action personally.

So, homemade posters stuck up in fun places that people will see a lot - or graffiti in chalk in the town centre, with feel-good messages about what we can do, and what the government/councils can do.
