 3D, google, lively, OneClimate, virtual-worlds
A first try-out of a new 3D world that could be the future of social networks like OneClimate.
You'll need a PC to walk into this space (first downloading a plug-in from Google). Then you can text-chat to anyone else who's dropped in. And watch the latest movie.
It's very basic indeed, but may be fun to try as a hint as to how this kind of 3D interface is going to develop and how it might work for communities like ours to feel even more in touch with each other.

that's better- have got in with explorer. Tim

good - it's sort of fun being able to step straight in from the browser, but at the moment pretty limited what you can do when you're in (compared with Second Life).
