Age of Stupid Virtual Premiere Night

|
Sunday March 15th 2009 sees the People's Premiere of the climate blockbuster 'The Age of Stupid' staring Pete Postlethwaite. Not only will the event take place in a solar-powered tent in London's Leicester Square and 64 cinemas across the UK, there will also be a special virtual event live in Second Life and on the web. After the film if you feel inspired to take action, we'll be presenting regular action ideas and suggestions here from OneClimate's partners all over the world.
It all kicks off at 10.45 am Second Life time (6.45 pm in the UK) and you can join the action here on OneClimate Island. All the background to the film here.
And here's what's been happening in the last two days of run-up to the premiere - an army of volunteers attempting to make it the greenest premiere ever:
CommentsLet's write to Westminster Council to ask why they revoked their decision. And whose decision was it.
fantastic news :) i shall be present in Second Life, Linden Lab willing (you know, the good ol' sim crash etc, knock on wood!) congratulations on a great great piece of documentary filmmaking (and i have not even seen it yet...) |
Hey guys, CONGRATULATIONS from Toronto, Canada, on the big day and night!!! I have been trying to watch your premier on the net, I am still standing by. Sorry you could not heat the tent with all those news papers.
I am sure you can use that faux pas by the council for some more great publicity!! :) cheer, anastasia
