The Future is Now.

It's a nifty slogan, mantra for self improvement... what have you.  Join us on Saturday for a celebration of spring at the Vietnam Memorial/adjacent to the Oregon Zoo.   There will be a one hour nature hike up through some of the established paths (it really is a lovely area)  followed by coffee/ discussion at the Zoo's main gate cafe.  (Zoo admission is not required for the cafe).

For those interested we will continue our journey at the Oregon Zoo, discussing the exhibits of threatened species and what we can do on a grass roots level right now in our daily life.    Zoo admission costs and hours are posted at the Oregon Zoo's web site.

The following week I will have photos of the walk, for those who couldn't attend, and who are most likely in other parts of the world.  There will also be a summary of discussions and brain storming ideas.

On our nature walk we will also be discussing: "All the rain promises and more"  by David Arora:  "a hip pocket gude to mushrooming in the Pacific Northwest.
