Fairfood

Fairfood is a new NGO to the UK and was set up in the Netherlands in 2002. Fairfood encourages the food and beverage industry to increase the level of sustainability of its products. In this way, Fairfood contributes to the fight against hunger and poverty across the globe. We at Fairfood operate against a broad sustainability agenda and recognise that in order to prevent hunger, a mix of environmental, social and economic issues need to be addressed. Climate change is heavily linked to many of these issues and therefore is of interest to Fairfood.
