Welsh Assembly Climate Change Team

Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing the world today and the Welsh Assembly Government is determined to play its part in tackling it.

We have already taken a number of steps across all policy areas to address the greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change. Our Environment Strategy, published in May 2007, outlines our long-term approach.

Together with the UK government, we are developing proposals for the Climate Change Bill.  There is a lot of work to do on dealing with climate change, but we have made a good start and we are determined to do more.
