Miss. Ilse Janse van Rensburg
I live in South Africa, driving to work in the morning feel like I have to wear a smoke mask, because its winter time, the only way for the people in the townships to stay warm is through making fires, its a blanket of smoke filling the air everyday, i know we have a lot of poverty in our country, but instead of the people in government spending millions on going on holidays and living their extravagant lifestyles, stop thinking about yourselves and start thinking about the people and how you can help them, our waste system, our water supply, our electricity supply, our country has got the most beautiful wildlife, they are all in danger, they are dying out, we cut down all our trees to make way for yet a another complex or another grocery store, you are taking away our H2O, my point is people living in a zinc 3mx3m shack, isn’t going to think about the environment they have enough to cope with, but on the other hand we all do with the increase on rates of every thing, our government looks away and until they start to think how they could clean up this country and not pay a soccer couch a R1000 000 per month, our country is going to get more polluted and our planet is just going to fade away, at the end they are going to blame everyone except themselves, if every household just changes one thing about their daily routine its already a step in the right direction to rebuild our earth for our children and theirs. I am new in this thinking green but God gave us this place, and we are simply throwing it back in his face and saying we don’t want it, what is wrong with all of us?????!!!!!!
